Had a great rest day Friday. Corrine showed us around Karratha and Dampier.
We sore some aboriginal carvings, checked out some of the massive mine sights and went to the pub to have lunch where I saw my first skimpy, wonderful day.
Tough riding, had strong head winds and didn't finish till 4:45pm. Beautiful sunset that night, off to Port Headland the following morning.
My mission is to raise money and awareness for Prostate cancer, which is why I have chosen the E.J Whitten Foundation as my charity. The mission is to ride from Melbourne to Broome within 2 and a half months. I have my son driving behind me in his campervan as support, I'll be updating the page along the ride when reception permits us to, we set off on the 27th of April.
