My mission is to raise money and awareness for Prostate cancer, which is why I have chosen the E.J Whitten Foundation as my charity. The mission is to ride from Melbourne to Broome within 2 and a half months. I have my son driving behind me in his campervan as support, I'll be updating the page along the ride when reception permits us to, we set off on the 27th of April. Karratha & Dampier
Had a great rest day Friday. Corrine showed us around Karratha and Dampier.
We sore some aboriginal carvings, checked out some of the massive mine sights and went to the pub to have lunch where I saw my first skimpy, wonderful day.
Tough riding, had strong head winds and didn't finish till 4:45pm. Beautiful sunset that night, off to Port Headland the following morning.

Karatha
Haven't had much reception the last 5 days. We have reached Karatha. Had a very wet day on Monday, it rained for the whole 130km's. I was copping spray from both ways when the road trains would go past and was also worried about Jaz getting bogged because the side of the roads were very muddy.
The next day it cleared up and was clear sky's for the rest of the way to Karatha. Did my biggest day yesterday. Rode 160km into Karatha and caught up with Sarah's friend Lucas who drove out from the mine to say g'day.
Bikes in for a service and having a rest day in Dampier with Amanda's mate Corrine, which is 20km's west of Karatha, right on the ocean.
