And off we go...

Day 1 - From home to Vic Golf Club where a bit of a send off happened for a few early risers. Then on to Bacchus Marsh where we met up with a few more people, some of our Kokoda & South American travel companions. Coffee & a muffin then Collin & Heather Proud rode 60k's to Ballarat, a total of 140'ks in very windy conditions.
.
Day 2 - We got to Ararat without any hiccups.
.
Day 3 - Today we are in Horsham where this photo is taken of our setup. This campsite is a freebie as the owners liked the cause & didn't accept payment.
.
Donations so far are over $6000!
.
Also we forgot to thank Ahmad Sowaid from Engel Australia for giving us a fridge for the van at a heavily reduced price.

The van that will follow me on my ride

EJ Whitten Foundation - Everyday Hero

My mission is to raise money and awareness for Prostate cancer, which is why I have chosen the E.J Whitten Foundation as my charity. The mission is to ride from Melbourne to Broome within 2 and a half months. I have my son driving behind me in his campervan as support, I'll be updating the page along the ride when reception permits us to, we set off on the 27th of April.

You can support me by making a donation through the link below:

Last day of training...

We've come to the last day of our training with a successful ride through the city to Bacchus Marsh, when he could Jarrad followed close behind with a flashing beacon to get a bit of leniency on the roads. My body is holding up well, the bike is in fine working order, and we are looking forward to our first day, we'll be back to check in on the night of the 27th, until then.....
